360 feedback for professional services teams

Feedback from the people who saw the work.

In professional services, people move from project to project. The line manager often did not see the work; the project team did, and so did the client. OnSurvey collects feedback as work happens, at project milestones and roll-offs, so you walk into every debrief with the team's view in hand.

Free for the first 100 users. No install, no card. Build it first, sign in only when you save.

Three ways to run a 360

Pick who does the reviewing. OnSurvey works out the rest.

Reviewers come from the project team, from the reporting lines, or from a list one person writes. Nobody picks their own reviewers.

Quick start
One person lists the people they want feedback from, colleagues or clients, and the request goes out at once. The simplest 360 there is.
Project based
Pick the projects from your project system, or type a project and its members. Every teammate reviews every other, in one or more rounds a set number of days apart, so you see how things changed over the project.
Org based
The classic 360 from the organization chart: manager, peers, direct reports and optionally project teammates. Cap any group at 2 to 8 people picked at random, so nobody chooses friendly reviewers.

Anonymity is a switch. On, reviewer names are hidden from everyone, super users and exports included: teammates appear as T1, T2 and colleagues as C1, C2.

Slack, Teams and email

The review request finds people where they already are.

A direct message in Slack, a card in Teams, or an email. The form is completed without leaving the chat, teammate cards included. People outside the workspace get the email.

Hi Maya, Atlas migration reached Go live. Two minutes on how the milestone went, and a card for any teammate you want to write about.

The same request as a card in Teams, with a task module for the form. The account the message was delivered to is the reviewer's identity, so a forwarded message does nothing for anyone else.

One message a day while reviews are open, nothing more. The due date is named in every notification; nothing closes on it.

Reading the feedback

Gaps are obvious before the debrief, not after.

Every signed-in person has one page, My Stuff. Most people never need another.

Project feedback
The project sits in the middle. Each line is one teammate's feedback about it; each circle is a teammate, dashed until they reply. Click a circle to read the cards written about that person. A printable All feedback page and a CSV export come with it.
360 feedback
A person sees the feedback written about them, by group. A manager's Team tab shows every review flowing into each of their reports, so missing feedback can be requested before reviews, not discovered during them.
Analytics for super users
The cycle's progress, the register of who has replied per round, aggregates and exports. Managers see only what they created and their own team; individuals see only their own.
Performance reviews

The review that already has the evidence.

Everyone in a cycle answers the same question set. The employee writes a self review, the manager writes theirs, and the two sides sit next to each other. The feedback collected during the period is already attached, not rebuilt from memory at review time.

Reviews are drafts until submitted. The employee sees the manager's side once it is submitted, acknowledges it in the same place, and can print it to PDF. A super user can return an accidental submission for changes, and every reopen is recorded.

Manager reviewsubmitted 5 Nov
→Agree on delivery. Two project cards this half mention client communication as the standout.

Pulse and context-aware questions

The question fits the person, not the calendar.

A pulse asks a few questions at a time, rotating from a bank you build, so nobody gets the same question twice in a row. Answers are anonymous and shown only as team results with four or more responses.

Context-aware rules read a column of your roster and, when a value stands out, ask one question written from that signal. AI drafts the questions from your column names; you approve every one before it can be asked.

Tone

Sound like your firm, not like HR.

The same question written three ways. Pick one and every survey and follow-up takes that voice.

Formal
“Thank you. What would raise that score by a point or two?”
Plain and neutral. Safe for exit and compliance.
Warm
“Thanks! What would it take to move that up a point or two?”
The default. Sounds like a colleague who actually wants to know.
Quirky
“A 7! Solid. What would tip it into 8 territory?”
Has opinions. Will banter back.

Integrations

Built for the systems you already run.

HR systems keep the roster and reporting lines current. Project systems supply project teams and milestones, so feedback goes out when a milestone completes.

People systems
Workday, ADP, UKG, BambooHR and HiBob for the roster and who reports to whom.
Project systems
Kantata, Certinia, Rocketlane, GuideCX, Planview, Smartsheet, monday.com, Asana and Jira for teams and milestones.

In the current release the roster, project teams and milestones are pasted or uploaded as files with a column mapping; the system connections are being switched on one by one. OnSurvey is listed on the Slack App Directory, Microsoft AppSource and the Workday Marketplace.
